MFI System: The core of the filtration system is a Multi Function Ion (MFI) system.
This adds an ionized flow which pushes the charged particles to collection plates. There
is a strong electrical field and MFI systems operate off high voltage, thereby adding to
performance. The particles are held until the wash cycle flushes the plates and collected
matter is flushed to drains. Air flow is shut down during the cleaning cycle.
The arrangement has been modeled on computer to provide adequate residence time
to allow the matter to migrate to the plates, and laminar flow to make sure that captured
particles are not dislodged due to air turbulence. The results have been verified with
field experience.
Removes particles down to .001 microns
